The BlaBlaNote browser extension provides:

Getting Started
Installation
- Click the download link for your browser above
- Click "Add to [Browser]" on the store page
- Confirm when prompted
- The BlaBlaNote icon appears in your browser toolbar
Sign In
After installing:
- Click the Extension Icon - Find BlaBlaNote in your toolbar
- Sign In with Google - Click the sign-in button
- Authorize - Allow BlaBlaNote to connect
- Ready! - Visit any LinkedIn profile to start
First Time?
You need a BlaBlaNote account to use the extension. Create one at blablanote.app if you haven't already.
How It Works
The Profile Drawer
When you visit a LinkedIn profile, the extension automatically:
- Detects the profile - Recognizes you're viewing someone's LinkedIn page
- Opens a drawer - A panel slides in from the right side of your screen
- Shows profile info - Displays the person's name, headline, location, and more
- Checks your database - Looks if you've already saved this contact
Saving a New Contact
If this is someone new:

Review the Information - The drawer shows what will be saved:
- Full name
- Professional headline
- Current company
- Location
- Profile photo
- About section summary
- LinkedIn profile URL
Add a Note (optional) - Use the "Additional Notes" field to add something to remember about this person
Link to Existing Contact (optional) - If this person is related to someone already in BlaBlaNote, search and select that contact
Click "Add Contact" - The button at the bottom saves everything to BlaBlaNote
Saved! - The button turns green with a checkmark, then the drawer closes
Updating an Existing Contact
If you've already saved this contact, the drawer shows:

- Something to Remember (your notes)

Quick Actions
- View the full profile in BlaBlaNote (opens in new tab)
- Update the contact with latest LinkedIn information
- Add new notes
The button changes to "Update Contact" instead of "Add Contact".
Smart Updates
When updating, the extension refreshes the profile information from LinkedIn while keeping all your notes, tags, and relationships intact.

Rich Contact Data Display
When a contact exists in BlaBlaNote, the drawer beautifully displays:
Something to Remember Your personal notes about this contact, highlighted in yellow.
Tags All tags you've applied, displayed as colored badges.
First Interaction When you first connected with this person and the interaction title.
Last Interaction Your most recent interaction, including:
- Interaction title
- Date
- Any reminders you set
Relationships Other contacts in BlaBlaNote who are connected to this person.
Upcoming Dates Important dates you've scheduled (birthdays, follow-ups, etc.).
Link to Existing Contacts
The drawer includes a search feature to connect the LinkedIn profile to someone already in BlaBlaNote:
- Type in the search box - Start typing a name
- See results - Matching contacts appear as you type
- Select a contact - Click to link them
- Confirmation - A green message confirms the link
This is useful when:
- Someone changed jobs and has a new LinkedIn profile
- You have a contact from another source (phone, email) and found their LinkedIn
- You want to merge information
Notes Field
The "Additional Notes" field lets you add context:
- Why you're connecting
- How you met
- What to remember for next time
- Projects you discussed
- Personal details they mentioned
Notes are saved as "Something to Remember" in BlaBlaNote.

When Signed In
You'll see:
- Your profile - Name, email, and photo
- Language selector - Choose English, Spanish, or Basque
- Theme selector - Light, Dark, or System

- Sign out - Log out of the extension

Troubleshooting
Drawer Doesn't Appear
If the drawer doesn't open when visiting a profile:
- Make sure you're on a person's profile page (URL includes
/in/) - Check that you're signed in (click the extension icon)
- Refresh the LinkedIn page
- Try visiting a different profile
- Disable other LinkedIn extensions temporarily
Can't Sign In
If you're having trouble signing in:
- Verify you have a BlaBlaNote account
- Check you're using the correct Google account
- Allow popups if your browser blocks them
- Try an incognito/private window
- Clear browser cache and try again
Contact Won't Save
If clicking "Add Contact" doesn't work:
- Check your internet connection
- Make sure you're signed in
- Look for error messages in the drawer
- Try refreshing and saving again
- Check if the profile is accessible
Drawer Shows "Please Login"
If you see a login prompt in the drawer:
- You're not signed into the extension
- Click "Login" in the drawer
- Complete Google authentication
- The drawer will refresh automatically
Extension Icon Missing
If you can't find the BlaBlaNote icon:
- Click the puzzle piece icon in your browser
- Find BlaBlaNote in the list
- Click the pin icon to keep it visible
- Check browser extensions settings

The extension updates automatically. You always have the latest features and security improvements without doing anything.
Uninstalling
If needed, you can remove the extension:

Your Data is Safe
Uninstalling the extension only removes it from your browser. Your BlaBlaNote account and all saved contacts remain safe and accessible from the web app.
