  2. Configure transcription - Select your preferred transcription languages
  3. Connect integrations - Link Google Calendar, Telegram, or WhatsApp (optional)
  4. Set up your profile - Add your name and profile photo

You can skip onboarding and complete these steps later in Settings.

Step 3: Create Your First Interaction

An "Interaction" is the core unit in BlaBlaNote - it represents a conversation or note that you want to capture.

All three ways in are the same button and the same dialog: New interaction, then one of three tabs. None of them asks you for a title — the title is written from what you said or wrote.

Option A: Voice

  1. Click New interaction
  2. Stay on the Voice tab
  3. Tap the microphone to start, and again to stop
  4. It uploads when you stop

Your audio is transcribed automatically, and the note is built from the transcript.

Option B: Upload

  1. Click New interaction
  2. Choose the Upload tab
  3. Pick an audio file from your device

Option C: Text

  1. Click New interaction
  2. Choose the Text tab
  3. Write what happened, in plain text
  4. Click Upload text

The third way in: writing it down, and letting the app file it.

BlaBlaNote has already worked out who was in the conversation. Your job is to confirm the one it could not place:

  1. Open the interaction
  2. Go to the Contacts tab — its number is how many it matched on its own
  3. Under them, anyone the transcription named who is not yet in your contacts
  4. Click Create contact

The new contact keeps the address the meeting gave you. Someone who was only mentioned — talked about rather than present — is listed and never offered, on purpose.

Confirming the one participant the app could not place.

Step 5: Create a Task

Mostly you will not have to. The same pass that wrote the summary pulled out what you said you would do:

  1. Open the interaction
  2. Go to the Tasks tab — the interaction list already showed the count as 0/3
  3. Tick one when it is done

Add on that tab is there for anything the conversation did not produce. Either way the task stays linked to the interaction, so six weeks later you can still see what it came from.

The tasks the conversation produced, and the first one closed.

Step 6: Your home screen

Home is the Activity feed, and it is in two halves:

  • To-do — what needs you: people to reconnect with, dates coming up, tasks due
  • Updates — what happened: what BlaBlaNote noticed across your network, and account messages

Down the right-hand side is your network's health — how many contacts are scored, and how they spread across the circles of your network.

There is no separate dashboard: everything else lives on its own screen, in the left-hand navigation.
